SATIRE

Charming!
You, charmed me now I'm grieving
grieving you in style
you are a loving lady
one, I've charmed and loved awhile.
You charmed me now I'm grieving
grieving for those hours
we charmed one another
we gave each other flowers.
Music wine and laughter
were in our frolics of the day
we loved and laughed together
we played and laid and stayed;
our nights were close our days were ours
now! We just stay away.
You charmed me now I'm grieving
grieving for that time
when my soul felt warm
like, before you came on by.
I'm grieving you in style lady
there is no other way
to shake the blues and calm the soul
the one I'm with each day.
You charmed me and I've grieved
now seemingly far too grey
but, all choices in life's lovings
have there price to pay.
Your charms charmed me lady
in such a charming way
grieving's all in style for you
as now, style's the only way
grieving, can share another day;
even, one more day!
